1990 Ford Probe GT has undergone a complete mechanical refurbishment with extensive service and replacement work completed throughout the vehicle. The refurbishment includes a complete air conditioning system overhaul with new condenser, compressor, and lines. The braking system has been extensively serviced with replacement calipers, rotors, lines, pads, and discs. Additional drivetrain service includes replacement of the clutch, pressure plate, throw-out bearing, and rear main seals. CV axles have also been replaced. Mechanical upgrades and maintenance continue with a complete exhaust system from the turbo back, a rebuilt turbo including a new turbine housing and exhaust manifolds, new lower control arms, new radiator and water pump, and a complete timing belt service including water pump and front main seal replacement. Common wear items including tires, belts, filters, and hoses have been consistently checked and replaced as needed. Included with the vehicle, but not sold separately, is a large collection of additional parts. Notable items include a rebuilt turbo long block engine, rebuilt turbo 5-speed transaxle, new OE non-adjustable shocks, assorted red interior parts and pieces, OE tail light gaskets and tail lights, OE motorized antenna, OE front and rear bumper covers, door glass, refurbished dash pad, and many additional parts. The seller notes that a truck will be needed to haul the included parts, as they will not fit inside the vehicle. Factory features currently functioning include pop-up headlights, AM/FM cassette/CD player, telescoping antenna, air conditioning, and passive restraint seat belts. This well-documented Probe GT represents a rare opportunity to own a highly maintained and extensively refurbished example of Ford’s turbocharged sport coupe from the early 1990s. Only known issues: Cruise control does not work, and anti-lock brake light is on.
