This 1931 Ford Model A Budd Cab, featuring the desirable all-steel Budd Cab and plenty of upgrades for enjoyable driving. The truck is powered by a new 4-cylinder engine paired with a 3-speed transmission with overdrive. Additional features include a high-output alternator, halogen headlights, turn signals, oil and temperature gauges, 16-inch wheels, cast iron brake drums for superior stopping, and a new wiring harness. The truck has been in the same owner's possession for approximately 8 years and has been maintained as a driver. It is reported to be set up to drive with no known issues. The Budd Cab adds an interesting piece of history to this Model A. Budd Manufacturing Company was a major supplier of automotive body components and truck cabs during the early years of the automotive industry. Budd-built cabs are less commonly seen than standard Ford bodies and are recognized for their distinctive construction and appearance. As a 1931 model, this truck also represents the final production year of the Ford Model A, making it an interesting combination of Ford history and the unique Budd Cab design. A great opportunity to own a vintage Ford truck with a distinctive cab, useful upgrades, and plenty of early American automotive character.
