This exceptionally rare 1984 Trihawk 304 is one of only 96 examples reportedly produced, making it a fascinating addition to any collection of unusual and limited-production vehicles. Manufactured by Trihawk Inc. in California, this example was built in October 1984 and carries VIN 1H9-T101A0-ED072021. The original manufacturer and emissions tags identify it as a Trihawk 304 powered by a 1,299cc (1.3L) engine rated at 64 SAE net horsepower. The Trihawk utilized a Citroen-derived flat-four engine and drivetrain, a 5-speed manual transmission, front-wheel drive, and a distinctive two-front-wheel, single-rear-wheel configuration. Federally classified as a motorcycle, the lightweight Trihawk provides an open-air driving experience unlike almost anything else from the era. Production remained extremely limited before the Trihawk operation was acquired by Harley-Davidson, adding another interesting chapter to the vehicle's history.
